I came across another window cleaner’s web site recently and found a stunning untruth. Their site claimed that this company had 15 years in the window cleaning industry. 15 years!?  This company actually has more like 4 years of general cleaning experience with only a couple of months of experience in window cleaning in Saratoga, NY.

My first inclination was to call the attorney general and expose their false advertising, but realized there is not a criteria for maintaining integrity of website content.  It made me realize that anyone can write anything they want on their web sites and when they are marketing their business.

So, when you call someone who say s they have 15 years experience, ask for a 15 year old reference. Always Perfect Window Cleaning can furnish references dating back to spring 2003.   And that’s the truth.
